Manage Emergency Features

The Manage Emergency Features section in the Famalth ONE App lets you enable or disable safety functions that are triggered when you send an SOS alert.
You can customize whether the app should record video, play siren, flash the light, auto-call, or send SMS during an emergency.

How to Access​

  1. Open the Famalth ONE App.
  2. Go to Settings → Manage Emergency Features.
  3. Use the toggles to activate or deactivate features as per your preference.

Available Emergency Features​

🔕 Silent Alert Mode​

  • Sends emergency alerts silently without sound or vibration.
  • Useful when you need discreet help.

🎥 Recording in Emergency​

  • Starts video recording automatically when you send an SOS.
  • Works for both SOS button and SOS widget triggers.

🔊 Enable Siren in Emergency​

  • Plays a loud siren sound to draw attention.
  • Recommended in public spaces for quick assistance.

🔦 Enable Flashlight in Emergency​

  • Activates blinking flashlight to make your phone visible in dark areas.

📍 Share Live Location in Emergency​

  • Sends your real-time GPS location to all emergency contacts.

⏸️ Block Tracking Temporarily​

  • Pause live tracking for 1h, 2h, or 1 day when you want privacy.

📞 Allow Emergency Calls​

  • Automatically calls your primary emergency contact during an SOS.

💬 Allow Emergency SMS​

  • Sends SOS SMS with your location and alert message to all emergency contacts.

📍 Allow One-Way Location Sharing​

  • Lets you share location with a trusted contact using a token.
  • They can see your location but you won’t see theirs (unless shared back).

📡 Receive SOS Alerts via BLE​

  • Allows your phone to scan for Bluetooth SOS alerts from nearby SOS users.
  • If someone nearby triggers SOS, you’ll get notified.

📡 Send SOS Alerts via BLE​

  • Allows your device to broadcast SOS alerts using Bluetooth Low Energy.
  • Nearby SOS users can detect your alert, even without internet.

🛡️ Safe Zone Alerts​

  • Sends automatic alerts when you enter or exit saved Safe Zones (Home, Office, School).
  • You can assign recipient tokens to notify trusted people.

Activating & Deactivating​

  • To Activate: Toggle the switch ON (blue) next to the feature.
  • To Deactivate: Toggle the switch OFF (grey).

You can enable multiple features together — for example, Record Video + Send SMS + Siren — for maximum safety.

Best Practices​

  • Enable Recording in Emergency for evidence collection.
  • Use Silent Mode in sensitive situations where loud alerts may put you at risk.
  • Keep Share Live Location and Emergency SMS ON for reliable alerts.
  • Use BLE Send/Receive if traveling in low-network areas.
  • Set up Safe Zone Alerts for children, elderly, or dependent family members.

Troubleshooting​

The Manage Emergency Features menu gives you full control over how the Famalth ONE App behaves when an alert is sent.
