Blood Pressure

The Blood Pressure tracker in the Famalth ONE App helps you monitor your systolic and diastolic readings over time.
You can log BP readings, view daily-to-yearly trends, and set personal targets to manage hypertension or maintain a healthy heart.


Overview

With Blood Pressure, you can:

  • Log systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings.
  • Use quick presets like 120/80, 130/85, 140/90, or 110/70.
  • Track BP daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
  • View categorized results: Normal, Elevated, High (Stage 1/2).
  • Set and adjust BP targets (default 120/80 mmHg).

How to Log a Blood Pressure Reading

  1. Open the Famalth ONE App.
  2. Go to the Health Dashboard → Blood Pressure card.
  3. Tap Open BP.
  4. Select Log BP.
  5. Enter:
    • Systolic (upper number)
    • Diastolic (lower number)
    • (Optional) Pulse rate
  6. Or choose from quick presets.
  7. Save the reading to update charts.

  • Daily View: Today’s readings with normal range markers.
  • Weekly View: Shows average systolic and diastolic values.
  • Monthly View: Detects long-term BP patterns.
  • Yearly View: Helps monitor overall cardiovascular health.

BP Categories:

  • Normal: < 120 / 80 mmHg
  • Elevated: 120–129 / < 80 mmHg
  • Hypertension Stage 1: 130–139 / 80–89 mmHg
  • Hypertension Stage 2: ≥ 140 / 90 mmHg
  • Hypertensive Crisis: > 180 / 120 mmHg (Seek immediate medical help)

BP Settings

  • Target Range: Default 120/80 mmHg.
  • Quick Presets:
    • 115/75
    • 120/80
    • 110/70
    • 130/85
  • Customize systolic and diastolic targets.

Common Questions

Can I log BP offline?

Yes. You can log and view readings offline. Cloud sync is optional.

Does the app analyze if my BP is high?

Yes. Your readings are categorized (Normal, Elevated, Stage 1, Stage 2, Crisis).

Can I export BP history?

Yes. All logged data can be exported for medical consultations.
